The Warning of Sitting & Mixing With The People of Desires and Innovation

There are numerous Prophetic narrations which stand as clear proofs — then there are reports from the early Salaf that amount to an Ijma’ (consensus) warning against associating with the innovators. Imam Al-Baghawi (d. 535H) said, ‘And there has already transpired the speech of the Sahābah, the Tābiʿūn, then those who followed them and from the scholars of the Sunnah: that they agreed upon having enmity towards ahlul-Bid’ah and to boycott them.’
