The signal conductor is a high-quality OCC copper, fully-shielded to ensure resistance to the RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) which can raise noise levels in a poorly-shielded cable. The Element is fitted with the newest version of the Achromatic non-magnetic RCA plug. This low-mass Achromatic connector features a precise solder-free, cold-weld connection, creating a coherent, continuous signal path with no degrading ‘barriers’ between different materials. The result is a cable which creates a large three-dimensional soundstage and significant levels of fine detail without the artificial ‘brightness’ which affects many budget cables. The Element Achromatic X RCA offers a neutral, relaxing sound and has proven to be an excellent foundation for further system improvements.
